As our wedding venue, the hotel offers a beautiful selection of boutique rooms overlooking Porthminster Beach. A small allocation of rooms has been held for our wedding guests at a preferential rate. Please contact the venue directly and mention our wedding to check availability and book.
The
Pedn Olva
Perched on the rocks on the opposite side of the bay, this hotel offers magnificent panoramic sea views and a lovely terrace. It is a level ten minute walk around the harbour front to the wedding venue.
Tregenna
Castle
Set in a vast estate overlooking the town, Tregenna Castle offers a mix of traditional hotel rooms and self catering apartments. It is roughly a fifteen minute walk or a quick three minute taxi ride down the hill to the Harbour Hotel.

Parking Information
The Harbour Hotel has private, secure parking on site, but spaces are limited and operate on a first come basis for residents. If you are driving down for the day, please use one of the excellent long stay public car parks listed below. All options allow for 24 hour parking.
Please note that parking at the hotel is strictly for overnight hotel guests only. We kindly ask that day guests use the alternative parking options listed below.
St Ives Station Car Park
Located directly below the venue, this is the closest public car park available. Spaces are highly sought after, so arriving early is recommended. It uses the JustPark app (Location Code: 8422)

Park Avenue Car Park
A great alternative located slightly up the hill from the beach. There is a convenient pedestrian cut through path that leads down towards the station area and the hotel entrance. It uses the JustPark app (Location Code: 8416)

Trenwith Car Park
This is the main, large multi storey car park at the top of the town next to the leisure centre. It has hundreds of spaces, making it the safest bet for finding a spot easily. The walk down to the hotel is very scenic, though you may wish to grab a local taxi for the journey back up the hill at midnight. It uses the JustPark app (Location Code: 8414)

Train Travel from Truro
For guests looking to avoid driving and parking altogether, the train is a highly practical and scenic option.
Great Western Railway Services
Trains run very frequently throughout the day between Truro and St Ives, with roughly two services running every hour. The journey takes approximately 45 minutes and requires one quick, simple platform change at St Erth onto the St Ives Bay line.
The railway station sits right next to the Harbour Hotel gardens, meaning you will arrive directly at the venue entrance.

Last Return Train from St Ives to Truro: 22:48 (changing at St Erth to arrive back into Truro by 23:40)
